Family Kitchen

After years in a cramped, dated kitchen and dining room, this young family was ready for something that truly fit the life they were living — and the one they were building. Social by nature and always up for a gathering, they needed a space that could keep up: open, welcoming, timeless, and in step with the contemporary feel of the rest of their home.

We started by opening things up — removing walls to connect the kitchen, dining, family, and living rooms into one fluid, flowing space. The kitchen was then taken back to the studs and reimagined from the ground up, with an improved layout, an enlarged island, and all-new flooring, cabinetry, countertops, backsplash, lighting, paint, and hardware. The updates carried naturally into the dining area with new lighting, draperies, and a fresh fire surround that ties it all together.

The result is a home that finally reflects this family, how they gather, how they live, and who they are. Beautifully settled, at last.
