Frequently Asked Questions
A thoughtful process, designed around your life
Your home should support the season of life you’re in right now. Here’s everything you need to know before we get started.
-
We specialize in new construction, remodels, and full-home or multi-room furnishing projects. Our work is best suited for clients seeking a comprehensive, done-for-you experience — someone who wants thoughtful guidance from the very first decision all the way through final installation.
-
We’re a great fit if you’re embarking on a new build, remodel, or significant furnishing project and want a full-service partner who manages the details so you don’t have to. If you’re looking for a quick one-room refresh or a fast decorating fix, we’re probably not the right match — our process is designed for projects where we can fully support you and create something cohesive and lasting.
-
We design with your life in mind — not just your style. Every home we create is rooted in a deep understanding of how you actually live: your routines, your relationships, your current season of life. The result is a space that feels intentional and personal, not just beautiful.
Founder Angie Latta brings a background in communication, project management, and marketing — which means you’ll experience clear, consistent communication at every step, not just great design.

We’re based in Portland, Oregon and primarily serve the Portland south metro area. That said, we also take on select projects internationally — our Baja casita is a favorite example of finding beautiful, unexpected solutions far from home. If you’re outside our primary area, reach out and we’re happy to talk through what’s possible.

A well-designed home isn’t just about how it looks, it’s about how it supports your daily life. Working with a designer helps you avoid costly missteps, cuts through the overwhelm of decisions, and ensures every element works together toward a cohesive result. Most clients tell us the peace of mind alone was worth it.
-
Yes. We thoughtfully design homes that support evolving family dynamics and changing life stages, whether that means creating spaces for aging parents, adult children returning home, or simply planning ahead for how you want to live long-term. Our approach balances beauty, functionality, comfort, and accessibility so your home continues to support your life well into the future.
Working Together
The Process
-
We follow a clear, structured path: you reach out via our inquiry form, we have an in-depth discovery conversation about you, your home, and your project, then we put together a detailed proposal. Once we’re aligned and you’ve signed off on a written agreement, we move into design — style boards, floor plans, material and fixture selections — followed by procurement, project management, and installation.
You’re involved in the decisions that matter most to you. We handle the rest.
-
Most full-service projects span several months from concept through installation. Custom pieces, construction schedules, and material lead times can all affect timing, and unlike what you see on HGTV, great design isn’t rushed. We’ll map out a realistic timeline in your proposal and keep you informed at every phase so there are never any surprises.
-
Yes. For full-service projects, we coordinate directly with your contractor, vendors, and installers — communicating timelines, managing decisions, and making sure everything is executed as intended. Think of us as your advocate on the project, keeping all the moving pieces aligned so you don’t have to.
-
Yes. We provide full-service interior design support for remodels and new construction projects, including collaboration with contractors, architects, builders, and vendors throughout the process. From early planning and material selections to installation and final details, we help keep every moving piece aligned so the experience feels clear, cohesive, and well-managed from start to finish.
-
As early as possible. Ideally before or at the same time as hiring a contractor or builder. Bringing a designer in early means every structural and material decision is made with the full vision in mind, which prevents costly changes later. The earlier we’re involved, the more we can do for you.
Your Home & Style
-
That’s completely normal, and honestly, it’s a great place to start. Rather than asking you to pick an aesthetic, we start by getting to know you: how you live, what draws you in, what you want your home to feel like. Your style emerges naturally from that conversation. You don’t need a Pinterest board to work with us.
-
Absolutely. Existing pieces often bring the most character to a space. We’ll thoughtfully assess what you have, integrate what works, and recommend additions only where they’ll make the greatest impact. Sometimes a fresh perspective on what you already own is all it takes.
-
That’s one of the most common things we hear and one of our favorite challenges. Through our discovery process, we uncover exactly what isn’t working and why, then build a design plan that brings out the potential that’s already there. Often the bones are the best part; they just need the right framing.
-
Every project is unique, and we believe in full transparency from the start. Most full-service projects begin at a minimum investment of $5,000, with scope and complexity shaping the overall range from there. Following our initial discovery conversation, we provide a detailed proposal that clearly outlines design fees and an overall project investment range, so you can plan with confidence before committing to anything.
-
Our compensation includes a design fee for our time and expertise, along with sourcing furnishings and materials through our trusted vendor network. We walk you through each decision clearly so you always understand what you’re investing in and why.
-
Budget is one of the first things we discuss — and we design to it, not around it. Good design is about making thoughtful decisions, not spending the most. We’ll help you understand where to invest for the greatest impact and be honest with you about what’s realistic for your goals.
