Sunriver Home

Having lived all over the West, these recently retired homeowners wanted a large home to host three generations for reunions and holidays. Custom built in 1990, the home has many lodge elements including soaring ceilings, a river rock fireplace, and hand-hewn furniture, railings and cabinets.  While the owners were drawn to this aesthetic, they wanted to modernize the bones and introduce aging in place design elements. Our design vision was understated cowboy – utilizing many natural, organic elements and antiques. The remodel consisted of refacing kitchen cabinets, new hardwood floors, appliances, countertops, backsplash, and lighting.  All the bathrooms were also updated with new sinks, counters, tub, shower and flooring. With the master already on the main, we prioritized additional universal design elements including grab bars and zero threshold showers and transitions. These owners are now ready to host family and friends confidently and comfortably.
